Bonfire Night

Its that time of the year again when you get your camera out and get it set on the bulb exposure. This is some of the pics I got tonight:

My camera settings where:
  • Shutter Speed: Bulb
  • Apature: f/16
  • ISO: 100
  • Lens: EFS 17-85mm set at 17mm
  • Focus: Man / Infinity
  • White Balance: Sunshine
How to shoot:
  • Set my camera up on a tripod
  • Point the camera in the direction that I think the fireworks will explode
  • Connect my camera to the laptop and start the remote software
  • Watch for the fireworks trail shooting up into the sky and open the shutter
  • Once the firework explodes close the shutter.
Not exactly a tutorial, but just how I got these pics.
